He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Green Cooke Sr. and Blanche Stewart Cooke. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Shields Cooke; his children, Leah Mendez (John) and Phillip Craig Cooke (Debra); his grandchildren, John Ryan Mendez, Erin Rae Rimbach, Adam Emilio Mendez, Phillip Zachary Cooke, Ashley Taylor Breese and Victoria Anne Armstrong; his siblings, Kathleen Cook and Ronald Cooke; and his caregivers, Judy Robinson and Rada McKinney. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Evans-Calfee Funeral Service (614 Appalachian Hwy, Pineville, WV 24874). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
