He is survived by: his wife Teresa Anne Blackmon; his children, Jamie Eric Blackmon and Nichole Marie Vest (Damon Vest Jr.); his granddaughters, Angela Vest and Amy Vest; and his sisters, Mary Martha Davis and Regina Hamilton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evans-Calfee Funeral Service-Pineville (614 Appalachian Hwy, Pineville, WV 24874). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
