He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Keaton and Florence Kirk Keaton; his wife Nora Faye Trivett Keaton; his sibling Aubrey Keaton; his brother-in-law Tom Keaton; and his nephew Greg Keaton.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael Ray Keaton (Lisa), James Leroy Keaton (Robyn) and Bruce Allen Keaton (Cathy); his grandchildren, Samantha, Jonathan, Eric, Gregory, Madison and Jacob; and his sister Mary Jane Keaton. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
