Franklin M. Hanson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 82, Franklin M. Hanson of Pliny, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Franklin farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Franklin is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his mother Pauline Twigg; his stepparents, Floyd Twigg and Jerry; his son Richard Hanson; his brother David Hanson; his stepbrother James Love; and his great grandchild Kylie Garrison.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Hanson; his children, Donna Booth of Tornado, Teresa Scott of Hurricane, Frank Hanson, Jr. of Cross Lanes and James Hanson of LaGrange, NC; and his sister Sandra Bolen of Hurricane. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
