It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Nell Duncan (Poca, West Virginia), who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her siblings, James Carrol Sutton, Nancy Sutton Bowles and Deborah Sutton Spruce; her stepbrothers, Thomas Cogan, Jr. and Robert Cogan; her great grandchild Garrett Holstein; and her parents, Hilda Cowie Sutton (Mother) and James Alva Sutton, Jr. (Daddy).
She is survived by : her sister Margaret Cogan Jarvis; her children, Karen Lawrence Holstein (Don Philyaw), Kimberly Lawrence Haslett (Dave) and Jim Lawrence (Elena); her niece Carolyn Ann Hawley (Scott); and her husband Dale B. Stone (Red). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Her favorite job was RSVP Project Director for the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program in Pulaski, Virginia.
