He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Burdette and Hope Burdette; and his daughters, Tina Carson and Amanda Branham. He is survived by: his sister Dreama Burdette Young; his son Jamey Trimble (Michael); and his sibling's children, Gena and Greg Taylor. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Gatens-Harding Funeral Home (147 Main St, Poca, WV 25159). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bumper Taylor Memorial Scholarship Fund at Sissonville High School, which provides scholarships for graduates to attend West Virginia University.
