He was predeceased by: his mother Beulah Hines; his foster parents, Ted Rhodes and Pearl Rhodes; and his son David Barry Hines (JoAnn Greene Hines). He is survived by: his daughter Tondra Valenzi (Rich) of Manassas, VA; his grandchildren, Jimmy Valenzi and Andrea Valenzi of Manassas, VA.; and his caregivers, Cathy Warren and Gabe Gibson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooke Funeral Home Chapel (2002 20th St, Nitro, WV 25143). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Cooke Funeral Home (2002 20th St, Nitro, WV 25143).
