He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Dean Blackburn; and his grandparents, Lacy, Virginia Childers Blackburn, Willard and Lou Coleman Baker.
He is survived by: his mother Anna Blackburn Herbst of Hardy; his son Colton Dean Blackburn; his stepfather Rich Herbst; his siblings, Michael Blackburn (Jackie) of Conroe, Texas, Stephanie Cron of Conroe, Texas, Leigh Ann Ray (Chuck) of Williamson and Terri Mills (Paul) of Hardy; his siblings' children, Matthew Mills of Huntington, J. T. Mills (Una) of Bloomington, Indiana, Charlotte Blackburn of Conroe, Texas and Genevieve Blackburn of Conroe, Texas; and also Marilyn Lusher. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gatens-Harding Funeral Home (147 Main St, Poca, WV 25159). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
