He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Watson and Effie Harris Watson; his former wives, Loretta Talbott Watson and Lora Hixson Watson; his siblings, Ted Watson, Bobby Watson, Betty Elkins and Francis Hodges; and his grandson Jeffrey Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Linda J. Watson; his daughters, Debbie Clark (David) and Lisa Lewis (Don); his stepchildren, Scarlett Zicafoose (Sam) and Mickey Justice; his grandchildren, Kelly R. Gower (William), Emma Clark, Jeremy Litton (Ashley), Macy Litton, Andrew Zicafoose (Kella), Linsey Justice-Guiden (Tim) and Logan Lacy; his great grandchildren, Nathan Gower, Levi, Gavin, Julianne and Clairah Zicafoose; and his nephew T. N. Watson.
A reception will be held on Sunday, August 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gatens-Harding Funeral Home (147 Main St, Poca, WV 25159). Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
