She was predeceased by: her parents, Murphy Columbus and Mildred Leona Goff (Doss); her husband George Richard "Dick" Young; her sons, Richard Lee Young and Matthew Allen Young; and her sister Alice Ann Lathey.
She is survived by: her son Michael Young (Jackie) of New Kent, VA; her sister Jean Nebbergall of Millersport, OH; her grandchildren, Josh Young (Mary Beth) of Hartford, Niki Weatherstein (Vince) of New Haven, Jason Young (Lora) of New Haven, Samatha Young (Matthew) of Augusta, GA, Jonathon Young (Caitlin) of Charleston, SC and Cezar Young of Point Pleasant; her great grandchildren, Emma Young, Aden Young, Ava Young, Vincent Weatherstein, Kennedy Weatherstein, Jaiden Young, Jainna Young, Jayla Young and Jayce Young; her stepgrandsons, Jason Taylor (Alicia) of Point Pleasant and Matthew Ridgway of Point Pleasant; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Peyton Taylor, Preston Taylor, Paige Taylor, Allison Ridgway and Ayla Ridgway; and her daughter-in-law Erma Young of Point Pleasant.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home (2226 Jackson Ave, Point Pleasant, WV 25550). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
