She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Irton and Iva Gertrude Simpkins (Killingsworth); her husband Guy Hensford "Hen" Sayre; and her children, Guy Sayre, Larry Sayre, Jerry Sayre, John Sayre and Sheila Cochran (Lester).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Hayes (Lloyd) of Point Pleasant, Deb Gillispie (Carl) of Letart, Donna Sayre of Point Pleasant, Linda Davis (Jimmy) of Point Pleasant and Terry Sayre (Jeannie) of Point Pleasant; her stepdaughter Carolyn Coleman (Denver) of Buffalo; her son Mike Watson (Sophie) of Galion, OH; her sister Opal Hughes of Mason, WV; and her daughters-in-law, Brenda Sayre of Point Pleasant and Debbie Sayre of Letart. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home (2226 Jackson Ave, Point Pleasant, WV 25550). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
