She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Porter and Minnie Porter (Phillips); her husband Julius Cochran; and her children, Mary Cochran Rusk, Johnny Cochran, Janet Cochran Hall, Larry Cochran, Bobby Cochran and Michael Cochran.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Staats (Terry) of Mason, WV and Donald Cochran (April) of St. Louis, MO; her daughters-in-law, Barbara Blazer of Point Pleasant, WV. and Eva Cochran of Point Pleasant, WV.; and her sister Pat Harstad of Alameda, CA.. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home (2226 Jackson Ave, Point Pleasant, WV 25550). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Little Tavie Old Regular Baptist Church (181 Chapel Dr, Point Pleasant, WV 25550).
