He is survived by: his wife Erma Whittington (Hart); his siblings, Mary L. Tompkins of Point Pleasant and Lester "Trig" Whittington (Paula) of Fairborn, OH; his children, Sherri Jo Whittington of Mt. Vernon, OH and Jim Woodward (Phaedra) of Fredericktown, OH; and his stepsons, Christopher Matheny (Jodi) of Mt. Sterling, OH and Daniel Matheny (Kim) of Londonberry, OH. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
