He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Wilson Thornton and Mary Lee Thornton (Bird); his sons, Anthony Wayne Thornton and Keith Ray Thornton Jr.; his sister Rosie; and his brother-in-law Lonnie Campbell.

He is survived by: his wife Darlin Rosalie Thornton (White); his son-in-law Michael Holley of Point Pleasant; his grandchildren, Christa Furlong of Point Pleasant, Candice Wayne (Trevor) of Huntington, Bethany McQuaid of Point Pleasant, Kane Thornton (Rebecca) of Perry, OH and Scott Anthony Thornton of Mooresville, NC; his great grandchildren, Hunter Furlong, Aidan McQuaid of Point Pleasant, Faith Thornton and Julie Thornton of Perry, OH.; and his siblings, Norma Thornton (Billy) of Hurricane, WV, Vernon Thornton (Pat) of Hurricane and Phillip Thornton of Hurricane.

Social distancing will be observed and face masks are required.
