He was predeceased by: his parents, Oshel Patterson Sr. and Betty Patterson; his brothers, Johnny Patterson, Bruce Johnson and Tony Johnson; and his nephews, Charles Mullins and Johnny Patterson Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Patterson; his children, Crystal White (Jackie White Jr.), Jessica Patterson (Robert Patterson), Katherine Patterson (Richard Mullins) and Nathan Patterson; his brother James Patterson (Cary) of Bidwell; his cousin Virgil Patterson; and his sibling's children, Betty Lynn Willet, Lisa Clay, Dawnyelle Patterson, Hannah Mullins, Alexis Mullins, Richard Patterson Jr., Jacob Patterson, Walter Patterson Jr., Andrew Mullins, Joshua Patterson, Christopher Carper, David Carper Jr. (Marshall) and Danny Foglesong. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, brother and sister in laws, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Deal Funeral Home (1401 Kanawha St, Point Pleasant, WV 25550).
