He is survived by: his wife Mary Deweese Adkins; his children, Richard "Ritchie" Adkins (Rene) of South Carolina and Melissa "Missy" Fields of Gallipolis Ferry; his stepchildren, Shasta Hart (John) of Leon and Timothy Deweese (Bobbi) of Leon; his grandchildren, Ricky, Nikki, Ashley, Michael, Kelsie, Kristian, Braxton, Peyton, Mikel, Zoie and Dax; and his great grandchildren, Chris, Brayden and Julie.
