She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Foreman and Joy Foreman; her husband Edgar Arlee Abbott; her son Edgar Bryant Abbott; and her siblings, Mary Ruth Thabet, Lawrence Bryant Foreman and Walden Foreman (Pete).

She is survived by: her daughter Mary Katherine Rice (Paul); her daughter-in-law Rhonda Abbott; and her grandchildren, Shawn Rice (Ashley), Steve Rice (Nichole), Matthew Abbott (Shawna) and Stacy Castle (Eric). She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family are invited to make a donation to Mid-Valley Christian School in Middleport, Ohio.
