The passing of Winona Lynn McKinney of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, born in Gallipolis, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 25, 2025 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loraine Lee Wilcoxen and Mary Frances Wilcoxen (Eads); her son Roger "Reed" McKinney II; and her sister Anna Morris (David). She is survived by: her husband Roger McKinney of Point Pleasant, WV; her sisters, Barbara Casto of Greenville, SC and Tina Barnette (Barry) of Spartanburg, SC; her children, Monica Thomas (David) and Nick McKinney (Heather); and her granddaughters, Madelyn Thomas, Sophia Thomas and Isabella McKinney.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home (2226 Jackson Ave, Point Pleasant, WV 25550). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, WV 25702.
