We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2023, at the age of 55, Wyatt Lloyd Akers of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, born in Charleston, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his sister Jessica Lee "Gurdie" Harris. He is survived by : his parents, Lloyd Arnold Akers and JoAnna Spencer (Shamblin); his sons, Dr. James Lewis (Jennifer Akers) of Morgantown, WV and Gattlin Wyatt (Silvia Akers) of Morgantown, WV; and his brother Troy Akers of Hinton, WV. He is also survived by several nephews and one niece.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mason County Commission, 200 6th Street, Point Pleasant, WV 25550, Attn: Mason County Animal Shelter.
