He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Allen Duling; his granddaughter Tristen D. Duling; and his sister Shirley Ann Kuykendall Kirby (Duling). He is survived by: his son James A. Duling, Jr. (Melanie) of Capon Bridge; and his sisters, Rebecca E. Duling and Judith K. Clower-Nazelrod (Sam) of Romney. He is also survived by two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shaffer Funeral Home (230 E Main St, Romney, WV 26757). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
