He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Autry Haines and Charlotte Virginia Shumaker Haines; and his daughter Jenny Lynn. He is survived by: his children, Christian Haines of Harrisonburg, VA, Jason Armistead of Stephens City, VA, Kyla Zugelder of Toms Brook, VA and Kiersten Zugelder of Harrisonburg, VA; and his siblings, Larry, Wayne Haines and Gloria Couch. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren.
