She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas G. Barber Sr. and Maxcine Jane Sullivan Barber; her children, Gary R. Young Jr., Beverly Lynn Young Riddle and Daniel Allen Young; and her sister Twalla Lowery.
She is survived by: her husband Gary R. Young Sr.; her son Richard Young; her grandsons, Justin Young, John Riddle II, Jacob Ashcraft, Darek Young and Gary R. Young III; and her siblings, Vickie (Mike Simpson), Tommy (Vickie Barber), Bobby Barber and Ricky Barber.
