He was predeceased by : his mother Betty Reed Walker; his brothers, Jerry and Terry James Walker of Bassett, VA; and his nephews, Eric Walker and Jerry Walker Jr..

He is survived by : his mother Terry Walker (Martha Walker); his children, Jeri Walker of Marion, VA, Santana Massey of Martinsville, VA, David Walker of Patrick Springs, VA and Stephen Baker of Premier, WV; and his siblings, Brenda Steele of Premier, WV, Donna McDonald of Sandy Huff, WV, David Walker, Ammie of Welch, WV, Sampy Walker of Bassett, VA and Gary Walker of Sandy Huff, WV. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; his father.
