She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Richard Halstead; her children, Joseph, Michael Halstead and Kathy Halstead; her parents, Joseph Walter Hughes and Darcos Krell Estep McCormick; her stepfather Eugene "Brownie" McCormick; her brothers, Howard, Danny and Eugene "Teddy" McCormick; and her granddaughter Michelle Mullins.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Halstead of Campbells Creek, Theodore Halstead of Prenter and Pamela Halstead of Prenter; her siblings, Charlotte Hagstrom of Raleigh, NC, Vonia Brammer of Pennsacola, FL, Sue Long of Gordon and Dennis McCormick of Peytona; and her grandchildren, Ivy Sheers, Shawn Halstead, Brandy Krepps, Ashley White, Katilyn Halstead, Richard Halstead, Tiffany Bias and Nancy Sydenstricker. She is also survived by twenty-five great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
