He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Acord; and his son Michael Acord. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Acord; his daughters, Tammy Kraemer (Thomas), Nancy Napier of Prichard, WV and Kathy McKenzie (Eddie) of Glen Burnie, MD; and his grandchildren, Charity Kraemer-Joseph, Cody Napier, Savannah Napier, Tyler McKenzie and Zack McKenzie.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Acord Family Cemetery.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses.
