It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Merritt of Prichard, West Virginia, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Harry" Merritt and Jewel Ann Merritt; his brother Randall "Randy" Merritt; and his close friend Joe Bowens. He is survived by: his daughters, Jillian Merritt (Drew), Caitlin Merritt and Taylor Marcum (Markie); his grandchildren, Aubrey Hundley, Ayden Merritt, Hazel Merritt, Damon Marcum, Cora Marcum and Jasper Marcum; his siblings, Ronald Merritt (Diana), James and Joyce Adams; and his siblings' children, Misty Merritt, James "Jimbob" Merritt (Stephanie), Brandon Merritt, Ronald "Little Ronnie" Merritt (Samantha), Clyde Adams Jr. (Brooke), Jeffrey Adams (Charity) and Brittany Domke (Alex).
