She is survived by: her parents, Larry Montgomery and Darla Wood Montgomery; her husband Maurice Settles of Princeton; her sons, Shawn Settles (Laura) of Wytheville and Brett Settles of Princeton; her granddaughters, Evelyn of Wytheville and Natalie Settles of Wytheville; her sister Michelle Proffitt (Terry) of Princeton; her nephews, Austin and Nicholas Proffitt; and her niece Kayla Gibson. She is also survived by many other extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home (1612 Honaker Ave, Princeton, WV 24740). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
