She was predeceased by: her parents, Walt Dempsey and Josephine Dempsey; her significant other Roger Ganoe; her siblings, Donna and Scott Dempsey; her stepson Bob Ganoe (Delanda); and her stepgrandsons, Christopher, Kaleb and Ethan.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Lamb (Adam); her grandchildren, Lauren Lamb-Annas (Keaton), Sarah Lamb and Chloe Lamb; her sons, Josh and Brycen; and her siblings, Randy Dempsey, Alan Dempsey (Rita) and Debra McIntosh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in Barbara's honor to Hospice of the Piedmont, located at 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27265, as a show of appreciation of their care for Barbara.
