She was predeceased by: her parents, Kohlar Kendrick Culbertson and Iva Mae Austin Culbertson; her former husband James Preston Angles of Bluefield, VA; and her siblings, Vera Adebelle Culbertson, Bascom Edward Culbertson, Jackie Freeman Culbertson, Richard Allen Culbertson and Juanita Maude Charlton.

She is survived by: her husband Donald E. "Danny" Barie; her children, Brenda Angles Cichowski (Stan) and Emmajean Angles Johnson (Roger); her stepchildren, Danny Barie (Alita), Gary Barie (Holly), Theresa Atkins (Michael) and Amanda Broyles (Paul III); Lawrence Culbertson of Miami, FL. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 great- great - grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren.
