He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Powell of Princeton, WV and Lisa Powell Hill of Princeton, WV; his granddaughter Lydia LeMaster of Princeton, WV; and his sister Diana Powell Haynie of Newport News, VA.. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
