He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Lucas and Margie Smoot Lucas; his daughters, Rhonda Kay and Katherine Lucas; and his siblings, Dale Lucas and Quinnie Tramel.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ward Lucas; his children, Richelle Evans (Doug), Angela Meadows (Adam) and Anthony Allen Lucas (Mandy); his grandchildren, Johnathon Neal, Santana Lucas and Jacqueline Dunbar; and his nephew Dale Lee Lucas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Funeral Directory Inc (654 Athens Rd, Princeton, WV 24740). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 PM at the Chapel of the Memorial.
