He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Elizabeth Ann Wheby (Gary Mills), Joseph F. Wheby, Jr., Deena Marie Wheby and John Anthony Wheby (Karen); and his great grandchildren, Violet and Luca Nemargut.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seaver Funeral Home (1507 N Walker St, Princeton, WV 24740). A wake was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Princeton Sacred Heart Catholic Church (507 Harrison St, Princeton, WV 24740).
