With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonard Eugene Long Sr. of Princeton, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2026 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, Creed Long and Dora Mullins Long; his wife Mary Lilly Long; his daughter Kathy Brinkley; and his brother Douglas Brinkley.
He is survived by: his son Leonard Eugene Long Jr.; his grandsons, Brian and Eric; his stepchildren, Dayton Brinkley (Georgia), Nita Brinkley and James Brinkley (Tammy); and his siblings, Betty Long and James Long. He is also survived by 12 Step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.
