She was predeceased by: her parents, Flem Rose and Snow Kerr Rose; her husband Phillip Grady McKenzie; and her siblings, Ray, Flem Jr., Thelma, Lloyd, Milford, Charles, Marshall and Tommy.
She is survived by: her children, Christine McKenzie, Dawn Shook (Chris), Sean McKenzie (Rene) and Bridgett Haislip (Chuck); her adoptive daughter Amanda Shorter; her grandchildren, Mac Haislip, Jacob Shook, Piper McKenzie and Jameson McKenzie; her sisters, Nona Bowling, Rachel Simmonson (Ray) and Irene Seal; and her aunt Lillian Kerr Young.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Directory (654 Athens Rd, Princeton, WV 24740). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Elgood Cemetery.
