She was predeceased by: her parents, James S. Ford and Florence Riggs Ford; her husband James W. McPherson; and her brothers, Charlie Ford and Billy Ford.

She is survived by: her children, Steve McPherson (Jeanie) of Telford, TN, Terri Bailey of Telford, TN and Randy McPherson (Sonya) of Jonesborough, TN; her siblings, Michael Ford of Princeton, Shelby Ford (Patty) of Danville, VA, Bonnie Brown (Freeman) of Oakvale and Brenda Smith (Roy) of Princeton; and her grandchildren, Evan Bailey of Dayton, OH, Ashley Roberts (Allen) of Princeton, Alex Altice (Matt) of Princeton, Haley McPherson of Jonesborough, TN, Dalton McPherson of Jonesborough, TN, Wendy Barnett (Bryan) of Jonesborough, TN and Brian McPherson (Erin) of Johnson City, TN. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
