He is survived by: his wife Margaret Pitzer; his daughters, Tina Fuller, Teresa Matthews and Sandy Radford; and his grandchildren, Shawn Averill, Matthew Averill, Tanner Matthews, Sabrina Bell and Jennifer Pendleton. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
