He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Roscoe Calfee and Roxie Louise Tilley Calfee; his great-grandparent Andrew Jackson Calfee; his siblings, Dillard Calfee, Mack Calfee, Donald Calfee, Mildred Sutter, Betty Bailey, Shelby Anthony and Helen McBride; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Calfee, Patty Calfee, Sharon Calfee, Jack Sutter, Larry Bailey and Bobby McBride.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Jones Calfee; his children, Russell Calfee (Diahn) of Athens, Richard Calfee (Freda) of Indian Valley, VA and Carolyn Calfee Worley (Kevin) of Athens, WV; his grandchildren, Daryl Calfee (Erica), Aaron Calfee (Tonya), Joel Calfee (Megan), Staci Leigh Moore (Trey), Zachary Worley (Kayla) and Zayne Worley (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Ella Calfee, Easton Calfee, Carter Calfee, Alliston Calfee, Ezekiel Moore, Ellie Moore, Blakeleigh Worley, Cruz Worley, Andrew Calfee, Emmanuel Calfee, Tucker Calfee, Esther Calfee, Elias Calfee, Charlotte Worley and Ezra Worley; his brother Carl Calfee (Jack Calfee) of Princeton; and his siblings-in-law, Wilma Calfee and Robert Anthony. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rich Creek Baptist Church (7690 Beckley Rd, Princeton, WV 24740). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM and at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Rich Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 101, Spanishburg, WV 25922.
