He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Elmore and Goldie Austin Elmore. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Johnson Elmore of Princeton; his sons, Charles Elmore (Ona) of Ripley and David Elmore (Bethany) of Princeton; and his grandchildren, Morgan of Lexington, KY and Emma of Princeton.
