He is survived by: his close friend Monica Lane; his children, Jeremy Somyk (Jackie Jackson) and Chasity Higginbotham (Jason); his grandchildren, Micah Somyk, McKenzie Somyk, Breanne O'Dell, Chase, Cessa, Aaron, Alyssa and Johnathan Higginbotham; and his sisters, Chris Wagner Myers, Donna Amoss, Sharon McDoughall, Cynthia Mactilla and Rita Wynn.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Memorial (654 Athens Rd, Princeton, WV 24740).
