He is survived by: his children, Thomas Marvin McPherson, Jr., Sherri Pendleton, Michael Wayne McPherson, Jeffrey Dean McPherson and James Allen McPherson; and his siblings, Carol Pendleton and Gay Montgomery McPherson, Jr..

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McPherson Cemetery.
