It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vennie Mae Johnston of Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rita Olen Bolen Johnston and Carl Charles Johnston. She is survived by: her former husband Melvin McKinney; her children, Lillian Ann McKinney of Princeton, Norman McKinney (Tina) of North Carolina and David McKinney of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Brandon Everett, Russell McKinney, Tiffany McKinney and Cody McKinney; her great grandchild Joshua Barber; her siblings, Charles Johnston of Matoaka and Vickie Shrader of Bluefield, WV; and her nieces and nephews, Darlene, Marlana, Andrew, Jamie, Deanna, Jessica and Billy.
