He is survived by: his children, Billy Shorter (Jennifer Shorter) of Lerona, WV and Elizabeth Crouse (Brian Crouse) of Edenton, NC.; his grandchildren, Zachary Shorter (Savannah), Kadyn Shorter, Hannah Crouse and Brandon Hall; his great grandchildren, Logan and Austin Shorter; and his siblings, Johnny Shorter, Randy Shorter (Tammy), Bobby Shorter, Patrick Shorter, Frances Worley (Tommy), Vickie Keatley (Randy) and Rebecca Shorter Knight (CurtisMcManaway). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
