She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Hanshaw and Thelma Hanshaw; her husband Virgil Cummings; and her children, Caroline, Lee, Roy, Danny and Joretta "Lynn".
She is survived by: her daughter Loretta "Jane" Bailey (Jim) of Charleston; and her brother Dallas "Henry" Hanshaw of Clay. She is also survived by six grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews.
