He was predeceased by: his mother Terri Barr (Henthorn); his stepson Joshua Gooch; and his in-laws, Doreen and Larry McElfresh, Sr.. He is survived by: his father Francis Barr (Robin); his wife Carletta Barr (McElfresh); his sister Becky Summerfield (Chris); his stepchildren, Zoey, Clayton and Isaiah; his siblings-in-law, Larry McElfresh, Jr. and Slynn Taylor; his nieces and nephews, Lexi (Bryan), Kate (Chris), Katie (Larry), Tyler (Emily), Matt (Adrianna) and Scott (Jordan); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brantlee, Chaseton, Layken, Myckenzie, Skylynn and Brookelynn. He is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home (118 Grant Ave, Moundsville, WV 26041). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
