It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Connor (Prosperity, West Virginia), who passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Light and Blanche Phillips Light; her siblings, Ed Light, Nathan Light, Nadine Light Settle, Virgil Light, Gary Light and Jean Light Adkins Walton; and her son William Edward Connor.
She is survived by: her sisters, Sandra Hatcher of Oak Hill, WV and Donna Jones of Newton, NC.; her husband William E. "Bossy" Connor; her children, Jewell Connor Lilly of Berryville, VA, Nathan Connor (Michelle Crook) of Inverness, FL and Chuck Connor (Jennifer Goodman) of Shady Spring, WV.; and her grandchildren, David "DJ" Lilly of Berryville, VA, Jordan Connor Basch (Fletcher Basch) and Ashton Connor (Jeff Huff) of Inverness, FL.. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to support Blue Jay Fellowship Church in Beaver, WV.
