Shirley Lafferty Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2025, at the age of 89, Shirley Lafferty of Prosperity, West Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Lafferty to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Matthew Wood and Miranda Sizemore Wood; her former husband Renn Grear Sr.; her siblings, Edwin, Roman, Jimmy, Howard, Cleve, Blane, Stephen Wood, Eva Cooper, Selda Jarrell, Beulah Karnes, Daphine Stokley and Norma Jean Hilbert; her grandson Jeremy Grear; and her great great grandchild Ophelia Radabaugh.
She is survived by: her husband Jan Lafferty; and her children, Renn Grear, Kelli Skaggs (David), Tanya Day (Adam) of Woodbridge and Virginia. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Cranberry Baptist Church (201 Cranberry Dr, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
