He was predeceased by : his parents, Dock Simmons and Beulah Simmons; his sister Sissy; and his daughter Natasha Simmons (Tasha). He is survived by : his daughters, Jillian Simmons and Megan Carter; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Montero, Kent Cheek, Brandon Simmons, Marley, Rosemary Hanna and Journee Carter; and his brothers, Larry Simmons and Johnny Simmons (Joe). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
