Joan Hicks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Hicks (Rainelle, West Virginia), who passed away on July 8, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Martin Brooks, Sr. and Ida Marie Hendrix; her husband Roy G. Hicks; and her sisters, Lillian Bivens (Fred) and Wilda Eddy (Ron).
She is survived by: her son Roy Allen Hicks (Becky) of Clintonville; her grandsons, Ryan Hicks and Robert Hicks; her stepgrandchildren, Robert Warden and Briana Harding (Caleb); her brother Hubie Brooks (Brenda); and her close friends, Richard, Mary Grist, Russell and Sandy Hodges. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and all of her fur babies.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the funeral home to defray the cost.
