We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2025, at the age of 104, Theda Ferrice Sanford of Rainelle, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Theda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Theda has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara Ellen Surbaugh; her husband Elmer Homer Sanford; and her children, Gaile Bowles and Eugene Sanford. She is survived by: her children, Theda Delores Carroll, Barbara Tigg, Roger Sanford (Brenda) and Ronald Sanford; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Sanford. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
