She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Gillespie and Norah Texa Gillespie of Crag; her husband Lawrence Ewing Aldridge; her grandchildren, Krista Butler and Chad Aldridge; and her siblings, Zelda Turner, Pansy Tincher, Hobert Gillespie, Elsie Pillow, Mescal "Fern" Osborne, Clifford Gillespie, Robert Gillespie, Donald Gillespie and Letha Gillespie.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Aldridge-Ellison of Charleston, Owen Aldridge (Sandy) of Asbury, Charles Aldridge of Corliss and Debbie Aldridge of Lewisburg; her grandchildren, Steve Ellison (Sherry), Amanda Aldridge (Adam Walton), Erica Aldridge and Kyle Aldridge; her great grandchildren, Braxton Ewing, Sierra Mae Ellison, Katelyn, Memphis Butler and Gabriel Bickford; and her sisters, Leonora Highlander (Alderson) of Rainelle and Lillian Kincaid of Ohio. She is also survived by her children and their family.
